Doesn’t need to post it on their own profile

No need for a big following

Paid for their content quality, not reach

Great for people who love content creation but don’t want to be “public” online

🔹 Influencer:

Promotes brands on their own social media

Needs an active following

Paid for reach, engagement, and influence

Often has a niche (fashion, fitness, beauty, etc.)

Both are valuable in different ways. And honestly, UGC is a great way to start working with brands if you're still building your audience.
